Business Development Associate

Job Description: 

About Milestones: 

Milestones is an all-in-one homeowner portal making it easier for consumers to buy, move, sell, and manage their home, provided to consumers by professionals in real estate, mortgage, insurance, and title. We recently completed our Series A funding, and are now looking to scale our sales operations to support industry demand. 

The Position:

We are looking for an experienced Partnership Manager to help drive revenue growth with both new business, as well as expanding on revenue opportunities within signed partnerships. The day to day of this role includes and is not limited to:

  1. Responding to inbound demo requests from and other sources
  2. Do proactive industry outreach to real estate brokerages, mortgage companies, and title companies (aka, cold calling)
  3. Create “hit lists” with our various sales channels to help get the word out about Milestones and increase revenue opportunities
  4. Strategize ways to grow existing partnerships
  5. Tracking and reporting on all active revenue opportunities in our CRM
  6. Partnering with the Success & Marketing teams
  7. Work side by side with the CRO on larger, enterprise deals

Who You Are:

  • A self-starting sales professional, experienced with building relationships and working complex deals.
  • Driven & motivated by the excitement & fast pace of a startup
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
  • Someone who is excited to be the first of their position on a new and growing team


  1. New client acquisition
  2. Existing account growth
  3. Meeting revenue quota
  4. Developing relationships within the industry, spreading the word about Milestones along the way
  5. Strategize on growth opportunities through partner channels

Experience & Skills:

  • 3+ years in real estate, mortgage, or title industry
  • 1+ years in SaaS or technology sales
  • Experience in navigating and negotiating deals
  • Organized with strong follow up
  • Ability to work proactively alone and collaboratively with a team

This position does require travel during the industry’s “conference season,” roughly 10% of total time annually.
